Approximately 90 Miles south of Louisville, KY and 90 Miles north of Nashville, TN.
ADMISSION TICKETS - Games (or field) admission ticket prices include all activities on both fields (St. Andrew's and Strathbarren) Saturday and Sunday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Entertainment; Competitions; Children and Adult participation events; Seminars; Demonstrations, Re-enactments, Vendors, etc.
ADDITIONAL EVENTS NOT INCLUDED IN THE GAMES (FIELD) PRICE: Lunch With The Chief; Ceilidh; Breakfast; Tartan Ball and Rockin' Under The Stars concert.
ALL DAY PASSES - With a general admission pass you can leave and return on the same day.
BICYCLES - No bicycles on the Games field, please. Paved walkways are for pedestrians.
COOLERS - Coolers are allowed but are subject to inspection. This is a dry county with 'by the drink'served at some city restaurants.
MOTORIZED VEHICLES - Golf Cart service is available, pre-arrange please (270) 651-3141. Please call if you wish to bring other motorized vehicles. Pre-arrangement is required.
PETS - No Pet - No Refunds
Service Pets with certification and tags are allowed. Please don't bring your pet in hopes of bending the rule - you will be disappointed.

PARKING - Handicap Parking is available - must have mirror permit displayed
General parking is free; you will be directed to open parking areas. A shuttle runs continuously throughout the weekend - no set schedule, it runs from the lodge to the Games field to the cottages and campgrounds and back to the field.
SCHEDULES - Schedules are accurate when published but please keep in mind we count on many different people to keep them and there may be a family emergency; sickness, etc. that would change the schedule at the last minute.
PHOTOS AND RECORDINGS - Glasgow Highland Games does allow camera's and recordings of the shows and events.
SEATING - There is plenty of seating under pavilions but you are allowed to bring your own if you choose.
TARTAN BALL - Music: Hits of the 60's and 70's, Great dance music! Food: the ticket price does include an array of hors d'oeuvres ranging from savory to sweet, chilled to steaming hot created and prepared by the Park's excellent culinary staff. Attire: "dress in your best", you will see short and floor length sequence strapless dresses and gowns to full highland dress; and leisure suits to tuxedo's. Tartan (plaid) is not necessary but many do wear some tartan as part of their outfit. Children: Are allowed but we have a Rockin' Under the Stars concert on the Games field starting at the same time as the Ball that they might prefer.
- FOOD: There is typical "American" food for sale (BBQ, hamburgers, fries, funnel cakes, ice cream, etc.) and Scottish food for sale (meat pies, Scotch eggs, fish and chips, etc).
- MERCHANDISE: There are commercial vendors selling various imported Scottish and Irish items and clothing; There are craft vendors selling a large variety of merchandise from handmade clothing and jewelry to candles, brooms, etc.
Remember there are two fields of activities and vendors, St. Andrew's and Strathbarren.
WALKING SURFACE - There is pavement around the Games field leading back to Strathbarren Field and on the drive; all fairly level ground. There is a slight incline getting to the Games field.
WEATHER - Rain or Shine all events are held, just bring an umbrella if rain is in the forecast! NO Refunds NO Pets
