This year, we are pleased to announce that the City of Glasgow Ceilidh will be held at the AIR CONDITIONED Plaza Theatre, 115 East Main Street, Glasgow - the seating is oh so comfortable and the sound is unmatched. 

Always one of the most popular events each year at the Games, the Ceilidh is where we can go back to a time in history when the Highland Chief would call the Clan together to indulge in a feast of merry-making including roasted meats, exhilarating music, ballads of heroic deeds and love, as the clansmen, women and children ate, sang and danced in captivating celebration of a successful harvest or victory.  The times of ole are brought to life as our musicians extraordinaire take the stage in uninterrupted musical excitement the Celtic way!  Indulge yourself in this fantastic, historical evening of heritage through the music of these excellent artists.
